BEN FENKELL Memorial Scholarship Award. COED is offering financial assistance totaling $2,000 (each year the student will receive $500 every year for 4 years) to a high school senior who will be attending college starting in the fall of 2021. The recipient should plan to attend a community college, a California State University, or a University of California school. The award will be based on academic excellence, financial need, community service and their responses to the three short essay questions. Once the applications are reviewed, there will be an interview with some members of the COED Board of Directors. After the interview, one applicant will be awarded the COED scholarship and the recipient will be given financial assistance directly sent to the University or community college of their choice.
